Kimberley Sixth Form College is part of the Wootton Academy Trust (WAT).
WAT also runs Wootton Academy in Wootton.
College Governance and Leadership
The Trust’s board of directors are the “responsible body” for Kimberley Sixth Form College. This means they have overall responsibility for the college, including strategy, standards and financial management.
The day-to-day running of the college is delegated to the Executive Headteacher and Head of College, Mark Lehain and Tim Detheridge.
The college also has a Local Governing Board (LGB), made up of trustees, staff and parent governors, and others appointed for their skills and expertise.

The LGB meets regularly to allow the college to draw upon the knowledge and experience of governors, and consult with them on key areas such as attendance, behaviour, SEND, the curriculum, and so on. Our Scheme of Delegation – which breaks down who in the Trust is responsible for what – can be found here:
If you have any queries about the college, in the first instance you should contact Tim Detheridge our Head of College. After this, if you wish to contact the Chair of the Kimberley LGB, you can do so via the Executive Assistant on bsnape@wootton.beds.sch.uk
If you would like more information or, if you are interested in joining our LGB or Board, please contact the Executive Assistant.
