Home Our Values

Our Values

Our aim is to develop the kind of confident, well-rounded young people that thrive, and which top universities and employers seek.

Our offer is built upon three pillars that every student benefits from

A scholarly culture, where hard work and academic excellence is the norm.

  • Our students understand success comes with dedication and strong commitment.
  • Our college curriculum and environment are built to nurture this. We have high expectations of our learners.

A focused set of academic facilitating subjects, delivered brilliantly.

  • High quality teaching and learning are underpinned by affective education principles including the science of learning.
  • Students are supported in making aspirational applications for competitive pathways. This includes preparation for elite universities through tutorials, preadmissions mentoring and participation in the college bespoke Early Entry Programme (KEEP).

An ambitious super- and extra-curricular programme for all.

  • All students participate in a broad offer of additional short courses (Electives) and participate in a wide range of cross curricular and subject specific opportunities. This is built into their timetable.
  • Learners benefit from access to a network of high-quality opportunities including guest lectures, support from prestigious employers, a comprehensive programme of trips and visits in addition to student led Societies and leadership roles.
